Non-Hindus wanting to liberate Hindu women from Sabarimala and Hinduism...set your house in order first
Kerala: Catholic Church threatens to expel nun for protesting against rape-accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal"
There a many fallacies here which I will leave as an exercise for the reader. I will just point out that all non-Hindus don't take orders from the Kerala Catholic Church authorities (and even many Catholics in their secular lives). Also it is pertinent to note that the Catholic Church to my knowledge has not mentioned a word about about the "Sabarimala Women's Entry" controversy or for that matter in any Hindu tradition or ritual covertly or overtly in the history of its presence in India.
for which the following was my response ...
which got deleted once and this is a screenshot of my posting it again. Fortunately I was writing this article and so had a cut and paste version 'in memory'.

Dear Admins, this is a very immature and false accusation on your part. First of all, the nature of those who are trying to get women of a traditionally forbidden age entry into the Sabarimala Temple is not 'non-Hindu' as sulked by you. This is a internecine war among Hindus alone. It was the RSS and some factions of the Congress Party which wanted to initially get access for women into Sabarimala to parade (in future) the contributions they have done for "women's welfare". The RSS switched its position when it saw the groundswell of Hindu (and Hindu supporting minority community) opposition to it. The RSS (and the Supreme Court) was / are trying to force a uniform North Indian type of Hinduism on all of India symptomatic of their narrow mindedness and geography of origin. Various Churches and the IUML party have come out in support of the traditionalists against the Supreme Court interfering in the practices of our Hindu brethren but then this would be counter to your narrative so you don't mention it. Yes there are all kinds of Hindus and non-Hindus on both sides of the conflict but the traditionalists have no idea (and possible no desire in many cases on) how to take the help of their non-Hindu sympathisers who are anyway rightfully reluctant to voice an opinion in matters that do not concern them directly. The feminist and leftist camps have however no qualms about shamelessly using non-Hindu friends who also like them - since birds of a feather flock together - have no moral compass and get their fingers into a debate that does not concern them.
The reason Fr.Franco was not arrested despite the brouhaha raised by the press is twofold - 1) There needs to be ample evidence to support his arrest. You don't just go and arrest any man accused by any woman. The fact that he is an important figure should not protect him just as the fact that his accuser is a nun or even just an ordinary woman be a reason to persecute him. There is a rule of law and it exists for a reason ... 2) There were more than 2 dozen accusations against the members of the communist party at that time of molestation of women. By not allowing the arrest of Franco even after it was permissible or warranted , the CPM CM managed to keep the attention of the press and public away from his party members who were being protected from their victims' legal actions.
Regarding the Catholic Church and the nun, there is a mechanism and legal framework to protest or complain to the church authorities which she could have used. That she chose to not do so OR probably was unsatisfied with the results if she did so, is why she chose to go to the police. When that didn't seem to work to her satisfaction, she went to the public and sitting on a protest is part of that. There are guidelines of behaviour for religious, clergy and others in the employment of the Church. You cannot violate them or use situations to act in a manner that brings disrepute to the church, even if you are innocent. I am not saying that she is lying , nor am I saying that she is truthful. There are mechanisms in place which may or may not be efficient in achieving the desired results. They may even be slow. But throwing tantrum or supporting someone who does so is childish and shows the immaturity of both the performer and the supporter.

I pasted it a second time and it got deleted again. It used to be the 3rd comment. It is now the 4th comment. in this screenshot. Let's see what happens ...
Yup it got deleted again ... Another point to note was that I was someone who had earlier
liked the page. It seems I have
unliked the page now. How this happened is a mystery to me.
Any guesses why a pro-Sabarimala status quo post has to be deleted by a Hindu right wing page ? Make your own guess ... Anyway here is the URL followed by the screenshot of the Indian Express Page to protect from URL death.
